Film Grain: Almost exactly as the name of the effect implies, this places an old-school-styled film grain over the image.

Mass Effect was one of them, in fact in darker scenes it looked nice, but in highlights made the image look dull and dirty. Why does Far Cry 4 have this Film Grain Effect so subtly yet Primal has to be so overbearing? In the Stoneage there is no Film Grain! And Far Cry 5 doesn't have it at all.
